Giannoulias announced quite some time ago; he's all in. About a month ago, maybe a little longer, Kennedy announced that he might maybe perhaps announce the next week and didn't. He's supposedly still exploring. Obviously, Kennedy is a terrible candidate — arrogant, presumptuous and out of touch. i think he won't get in because it's absolutely impossible to picture this guy shaking hands in front of a factory in Rockford or working the taco joints in Pilsen: he just doesn't have it in him. He only associates with the high and mighty and thinks he owes no one else any answers. His candidacy would be a disaster. I talked to my sister to warn her and she says everyone she knows in Chicago already thinks the guy is a no-go. No impact. Giannoulias is their guy. If Burris stays in, he'll likely beat Burris.
