So what if Obama picked Sotomayor because she is a woman and/or a Latina. I think our institutions should reflect our society and not the views of rich white males. If you have a pool of qualified candidates and one happens to represent an under represented segment of the population, why not choose that person. She is more than qualified to be on the court. Certainly more qualified that George Bush's affirmative action pick of Clarence Thomas. Stuff like this makes me so mad. So what if Obama picked Sotomayor because she is a woman and/or a Latina.
