Of course it’s not me but her name is Jill. I could give her my See Jill Run shirts even.

She’s the Green Party’s candidate, a Harvard/Harvard M.D., age 62. Kinda rockin’.  Check her out:

    Good morning Jill,

    Great minds do think alike.

    This morning I wrote:

Jill Stein and the Green Party are looking better and better for those of us who no longer buy the bull shit of holding our noses when we vote.

That the Green Party slate is madeup of two women is a bonus in my mind, but I’m voting the majoritarian platform first.

Do all you can to make today a good day,

    Jeff

Jeff – are you still following Jill Stein? see, that’s the thing – there’s that great coverage, and then nothing. :(

    Good afternoon Jill,

    That’s true, you’re absolutely correct.

I check Stein’s website daily and added a link to the site this morning in one of my posts.

Our Duopoly is rigged against third parties and the high-cost of media access makes the challenge all the harder. For my part I mention her every chance I get and I’ve made a financial contribution, albeit a small one in in the grand scope of campaigning, to keep her message out there.

My concern is that the constant drumbeat of spoiler and the unrealistic fear mongering over a woman’s right to choose will keep women who otherwise embrace her candidacy from away.

I’ll be interested to hear what the buzz might be at BlogHer ’12 conference next week.

Do all you can to make today a good day,

    Jeff
